Once your order has been placed we cannot change it.
Do you ship outside of Hong Kong?
No. We ship in Hong Kong only.
I have not received my order or any email confirming shipment.
If you haven’t received an email confirming shipment of your order as well as a tracking code for your shipment, it probably means that we have processed your order yet. It is also possible that your order has shipped but that for technical reasons our confirmation email has not reached your inbox. If 16 days have passed since you placed an order please contact us. Do not place a new order until we can confirm to you that your order has not gone through. Simply contact us at email@example.com to check with us.
Has my order shipped?
As soon as your order is processed for shipping you will receive an email with a tracking code. You can track your parcel at www.sf-express.com. If you have not received your shipment 2 weeks after our confirmation email and if SF Express or Parenthèses are unable to reach you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?
All packages are sent with SF Express. Delivery should take between 1 to 4 days from the day of shipping.
How much does shipping cost?
During checkout you have the choice to pick-up your order at Parenthèses or ship your order.
Should you choose to pick-up your order at the bookshop, we will call you when it is ready for pick-up.
Should you choose to have your order sent, shipping will be calculated during checkout.
What happens if I cannot receive my order?
In the event that you are absent at the time of the delivery, SF express will leave a message for you to let you know when they will come back. They may also call the number have you left with us during checkout. After three delivery attempts your order will be sent back to us. In the event that you were unable to receive your order (if the delivery address was wrong or that you could not make necessary arrangements to receive the delivery) the shipping costs shall not be refunded.
Can I return a product?
Any books ordered by mistake will not be refunded or exchanged.
Defective books with missing pages, improper binding or other quality problem can only be exchanged at Parenthèses within 15 days after order has been placed by presenting the invoice.
Parenthèses reserves the right to decline any return of books for reason other than points above.
In what currency can I pay?
All prices on our website are listed in HK Dollars and all transactions are done in HK dollars.

Is my banking information kept?
Zero banking information from our website is kept. Your banking details are directly handled on the secure server of our technical and financial partner PayPal. Banking information that you provide, encrypted on your own computer, will never be circulated online.

Why aren’t I receiving your newsletters?
If you have subscribed to our newsletter but have not received any newsletters it might be because your email software is treating our emails as spam and therefore sending them to your spam folder. To solve this problem please add email@example.com to your email address book and should be able to receive our newsletter. If this does not solve the problem, maybe you have typed a wrong email when you signed up with us. Try to sign up again and if you stil do not receive it contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
