What do I need to prepare to pick-up my order at Parenthèses?

If you do not with to have your items sent to you, please choose the option pick-up at Parenthèses when you checkout.

Please print your order confirmation which you will receive by email and bring it with you when you pick-up your order at Parenthèses.

Without your receipt or order confirmation we will not be able to release the items you ordered.

Who delivers my order?

Your order will be shipped with SF Express (shipping time from the date of shipping should be from 1 day up to 4 days ).

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships you will receive an email with a tracking code for your package. You can track your shipment here at www.sf-express.com. If you do not receive your order after 2 weeks and if you cannot track your shipment on SF Express, please contact us at info@parentheses-hk.com

How much does shipping cost?

You have two choices: you can pick-up your order at the bookshop or you can choose to have your order shipped to one location in Hong Kong.

Should you choose to pick-up your order at Parenthèses we shall call you as soon as your oder is ready. This option is free of charge.

For shipping freight charges are calculated as follows:

For an order less than HKD 500
HKD 40

For an order over HKD 500

How will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Parenthèses will prepare your order within 4 working days after order has been placed. In the event that one of the product is out of stock, the order will be sent within 20 working days after order has been placed.
All orders place between Monday to Friday before 5pm will be packed the same day. After 5pm it will be packed the following day. Any order placed after 4pm on a Saturday will be packed the following Monday. All orders placed on a public holiday will be packed the next working day. In the event of a substantial delay in shipping which is not justified by a case of Force Majeure, the client may ask for a refund which will be traded within 30 days after date of order.

How do I track my order ?

You can start tracking your order as soon as it has been processed by SF express.
Your tracking number will be sent to you by email once the order has shipped.

In the event that you cannot find your tracking number please contact us so that we can help you.

What happens if I cannot receive my order?

In the event that you are absent at the time of the delivery, SF express will leave a message for you to let you know when they will come back. They may also call the number have you left with us during checkout. After three delivery attempts your order will be sent back to us. In the event that you were unable to receive your order (if the delivery address was wrong or that you could not make necessary arrangements to receive the delivery) the shipping costs shall not be refunded.

Can I return a product?

Any books ordered by mistake will not be refunded or exchanged.

Defective books with missing pages, improper binding or other quality problem can only be exchanged at Parenthèses within 15 days after purchase by presenting the invoice.

Parenthèses reserves the right to decline any return of books for reason other than points above.
